Also your statement above has nothing to do with DREAM ACT. We are talking about DREAM ACT, not other policies or limited/influential government, if you got issues with that other policies , that’s fine but that is not what we are discussing. So I think you would need to analyze this bill individually from the other policies, and fine different sources, not jut the first thing that looks appealing to you, it needs to be neutral information.

Are you freaking kidding me? Wikipedia ??? you can’t really trust Wikipedia, anyone can edit Wikipedia, you can’t event trust google for this matter, Wikipedia it is a good source but often any troll can edit it, and you will see what they put there, before it is revised by trusted sources.

Heritage has since continued to have a significant influence in U.S. public policy making, and is widely considered to be one of the most influential research organizations in the United States (Wikipedia)…Not that you’d believe anything of value that did not agree with you. I don’t really care what you think of my blog, CJ, as your comments seem only to be liberal rants with nothing even close to a researched reply. That’s ok, you are entitled to your opinion. Unfortunately, your blindness to reality will eventually cost you big time. Your blind following of Obama and his flawed policies will bankrupt you and everyone else. By the time you wake up and realize it, it will be too late. I’m just terribly sorry there are so many lemmings like you who follow along based on rhetoric without substance. It’s the lemmings that will bring this country to its knees and destroy what once made it great. I can only hope and pray that there will be enough of us with half a brain to counter those who are too stupid to recognize what is happening. As Gerald Ford once said, ” A government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take away everything you have.”

Heritage Foundation is one of the best researched organizations there are. I don’t always like what they have to say but it is legitimate and researched. What you cannot trust is the mainstream media which feeds you what you believe. What are you quoting, CJ? Just your own opinion which is fine but don’t act as if it is fact.

On my website, from WAM08.org, is listed the actual verbiage of the Act as it is written, so even if you don’t agree with Heritage, you can read it for yourself and see what the Act is about. You may just be a person who feels our country should help everyone. That’s a nice sentiment but what happens when the money runs out? And it is my money and your money and it WILL run out with their free schooling, health care, etc. Have you ever talked to someone who lives in one of these “free for all” countries? I have and it isn’t pretty. A fireman who barely earns enough to feed his family has 45% of his check taken by the government for other people’s health care. When he dislocates his shoulder, he has to wait 6 months to see a doctor because he hasn’t a “serious” enough injury and there are others ahead of him who are on the dole.

What about my girlfriend who is still paying on a $70,000 loan and she’s 62 now and can’t afford to live in more than an apartment? She could not afford to send her kids to college and they are paying off loans also. Why should illegal’s kids get a free ride when she couldn’t and her kids could not. Yet she works with children whose parents drive fancy cars, get free college, free subsidy and free housing. Everyone who works for it deserves an education. Let’s help them with loans like everyone else.

The Dream Act lets illegals’ kids get a cheaper education than Americans who pay taxes and are like my friend. I have personally helped illegal immigrants in many ways but I don’t want to have the government decide how to spend my tax dollars when my own kids can’t afford the same thing.

I agree on the ‘what is your source’ perspective. I think all blog discussions of bills pending should link directly to current versions of that bill so that people can form opinions sans interest group filters.
