I think it is a little more than that. It is not legitimate reform for all. I wish it were. We all really need to read the bill; what the people are upset about is real and what the politicians are telling us are lies.If that bill passes, our country will change forever.

I think if our senators and congressmen would lead by example, sign onto to the President’s health care bill and give up their Privileged health care, then hopefully, the American people would see that this is legitimate reform for all. But that won’t happen. What is good for the goose is obviously not good for the gander.

You’d be surprised whose payroll I’m on. I’m not saying to not reform health care, Lori, I’m saying (more specifically in previous blogs) to give choices to the people and not take away choices by having the government control everything. Have you read this bill? Would you purchase a house without looking at it? I think not. Well we have a president and congressmen who do not know what is in this bill. The people do because it is online and they’ve read it. I would never want someone I love to be on this bill. Conservatives have suggested several alternative ideas but have been shut down every time. For instance, they’ve talked about health care savings accounts so people can choose what care fits them and their family or health care tax breaks to put the decision and money back in the taxpayer’s hands.
The way this bill is written (and subsequent revisions), the government has all of our personal records and all of the control…that’s a dangerous combination. They’ve already started talking about how they will control fat people….with a special tax. Think about the implications of that kind of control.
If this kind of control is what you want for your loved ones, I feel sorry for them and you.

Hmmmm..I wonder whose payroll you’re your on. What goes around..comes around. Someday someone you love will be forced to fight an insurance company for medical treatments…good luck!

Just found your blog. Really like what I see so far. Keep up the good work. Lots of good information here!!! The gov’t has bankrupted everything it has tried to run. They just keep raising taxes. The “unstimulus” bill should be stopped. The 10% that they have already spent has had little effect. Stop the rest of it. We don’t need the debt. Cut all spending.

Cash for Clunkers is another mistake. Politicians are so near sighted they don’t see the effects of crushing all these perfectly good cars. The polution created by building the replacement cars and the cost to consumers that buy used cars.These cars would’ve sold in the next months on there own. There is a pent up demand for new cars. I work for GM and I don’t appreciate my tax monies going to help consumers buy Toyota’s!!!

If Obama Care is So Great!! I think our elected officials and their families should try it first!! One brief tour of any Veterans Hospital will change your mind on Government run Health Care!! This health care bill is coming from the group of elected officials that suggested that our Veterans be responsible for their health care for War related injuries!!! 
A case in point is Social Security, Medicare, Post Office, and Department of Motor Vehicles. If the United States goes to Socialize Medicine the whole world will suffer!! 
