I will read it SPD. I identify so much with your sentiments and feelings when you were on the train. I stop short of making more than a cursory comment or two because of my own passion (that’s why I write this blog, to get it out:) Very cool that you gave them something to read; that’s actually a great tactic. Chicago…At the end of “…Health Care & Big Fishy Obama”, there was a line ‘to pit neighbor against neighbor to stifle “dissent.”’. I totally relate to that, especially after today riding the train home and listening to a man & woman talk about how ‘we are soo close to finally having, this, gee I hope it goes thru’. I felt like they weren’t even fellow Americans b/c this crap is so obviously socialistic and unconstitutional. I kept my mouth shut, cuz I know if said a single word, I’d start to get passionate & heated about the topic, but right as I got up to leave, I laid a copy of some economic commentary that is right in line w/ our thinking, that I’d finished reading, and said ‘here’s some reading you might like’. They were stunned into silence and I just walked away.

Unlike you, I understand their frustration. When liberals were screaming about the Iraq war, it was considered “political discourse” and tolerated. I’m sure you won’t agree, but it was an honorable war that gave the world an island of democracy in the middle east and kept terrorists out of our country. What people this time are fighting for is the destruction of an entire system for about 12 million uninsured people (no, not 47 million only 12 million–do your own research to find the truth in that number). Not one other avenue was explored and several were offered–ones that would not destroy the present system but create a solution for those uninsured who WANT to be insured–not everyone wants insurance (something else your lack of research did not tell you). Just like this pork-filled bloated stimulus passage, the Dems have tried to force this down our throats at record speed without even reading the bill (no, even Obama has never read it). This bill is not about insurance OR health care, goldenae, it is about controlling the economy and garnering votes for a second term. EVERYONE will suffer if this passes those who had health care and those who did not–you will too–but you won’t understand that until it is too late.

No, I have not seen anyone asked to be quiet. What has been asked is that people allow civil discussion so that something CAN be discussed. The groups you conveniently ignored have sent out the mandates to disrupt, not to debate, to challenge, etc. Their goal is not to have a discussion, but to shut all discussion down. So, regurgitating “Rush’s” talking points really does not jive with reality. Obama and his supporters should defend him. If there are people that want to disrupt townhalls, there should be people that should be allowed to disrupt the disruptors.

OK, let's think about this for more than 2 minutes. The SEIU (union)--you know the one who attacked the town hall crowd?-- alone contributed tens of millions to Obama's campaign. Obama used to work for ACORN from where the townhall union initiative started and Obama has close ties to ACORN. Obama's stimulus package filtered $4 BILLION dollars to ACORN. ACORN is being investigated in 15 states for voter fraud supporting the Democratic-Obama ticket. In addition, Obama's Census Czar Robert Morse would not commit to avoid using ACORN in the Census collection information. So we have close ties between ACORN and Obama--and ACORN is tied to high levels of voter fraud AND the Census--all which will SILENCE the conservative voice and vote. He's using informants (study WW2 Nazis and the jews) collecting names and addresses of dissenters beginning a despot-like database of information about them. There is right now an investigation starting to look into ties between the White House and the union thugs who seek to silence Obama's opposition. And you think no one has asked anyone to be silent??? What, are you living in Disneyland? Do we have to wait for the state-run media to report that Obama and his Chicago-style thugs have "asked us publicly" to be quiet? Well, naive writer, that has already happened--we have been told to shut-up or ELSE. Wake Up

Who is asking anyone to be quiet? I have not once heard the Obama Administration discourage people from opposing or supporting this debate. Truth is, conservative talk radio has put it into a lot of people’s head that the Obama Administration wants to silence someone. To me, it seems like the people shouting people down are the ones that do not want anyone saying anything. I challenge anyone on this blog on in that picture with tape over their mouths to quote Obama discouraging people to discuss the issue. It amazes me how people create situations and repeat it amongst themselves so often that they convince themselves that what they are saying is the truth. A lot of this behavior is learned from guys like Rush who spend all day everyday making up things about other people, but can not handle when people tell the truth about him.
