Hi Nancy,
I live in Eastern North Carolian, we have no Town Hall meetings. They are calling us on the phone, but the waiting time is very long, and the questions are not always allowed to be asked;they are screened. Yes I do write letters, make phone calls and send faxes. I also leave comments on the blog sites and next week end I am having a yard meeting. My husband is going to lead the meeting. Any suggestions you or anyone has, please pass them along to me. Kay Hagen and Richard Burr are cowards who want to stay out of Town Hall…humm wonder what happened to “for the people.” I sent Tim Phillips a note and told him I was going to meet with Ms. Hagen, all he said was good luck. I call her office twice weekly, and have not yet got to talk to her. The person who answered the phone told me Ms Hagen gets her orders about Town Hall meetings from Greensboro Democratic Office.She scheduled a meeting in Wilmington, NC and then didn’t show. Our state is truly represented with a bunch of no concern for the people, no accounts. Got any suggestions? Thanks, Roni

Are you attending any townhalls or protests? I am doing as many as I can and I am still faxing, writing and sometimes calling. Congress knows how the American voter feels and they know that this president has sent out his false representatives to give the illusion of support he no longer has.
God help us.

8 months into this Administration is only a steppingstone into the disaster that awaits us. I loved the America we had before his election. Not to say I still don’t love my Country, I do. I fear the outcome. If we don’t stop the politics this President possesses, in 4 years we will not recognize our homeland. Why the Czar’s? Why are those who claim to be Communist advising the supposed President of the United States? Obama continually blames Bush for all his short-comings, how he inherited the recession, the fall of the banks, etc. One thing for sure he did not inherit is Bush leadership. I am NOT ready for a Socialist 3rd world country. However, I am ready to FIGHT for the country I love.
