Before 9/11, I, too, assumed that Muslims’ belief in Islam was just another religion in our country and abroad. I did not pay attention to it. I had known people in my neighborhood who were worshiping Muslims and thought nothing of it. But I’ve learned Islam is far from being what most of us understand as a “religion.”
Nonie Darwish author of Cruel and Unusual Punishment comments,
…some thoughtful and seemingly incontrovertible criteria which must be met, before classification of Islam as a “religion” becomes feasible: 1) a religion must be a personal choice; 2) no religion should kill those who leave it; 3) a religion must never order the killing and subjugation of those who do not choose to be its members; and 4) a religion must abide by basic human rights. This is a definition that would seem to apply, for the most part, to Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Hinduism – despite occasional historical movements or sects that have advocated forced conversions, execution of apostates, oppression of women, etc.

And from Islam Watch: We are a group of Muslim apostates, who have left Islam out of our own conviction when we discovered that Islam is not a religion at all. Most of us took a prolong{ed} period of time to study, evaluate, and contemplate on, this religion of our birth. Having meticulously scrutinized Islam, we concluded that it is not a religion of peace at all, as touted by smooth-talking, self-serving Muslims and their apologists from non-Muslim from backgrounds. The core of Islam—that is, the Qur’an, Hadis and Sharia—is filled with unbounded hatred for the unbelievers, unbelievably intolerant toward them and extremely cruel and merciless to Muslims, who dare to deviate from its doctrine.

No Americans understand the intolerance and unbounded hatred for unbelievers more than those who lost loved ones in the World Trade Center attack 10 years ago. I think for most of us, confusion reigned when 9/11 happened: Why did these people hate us enough to engage in such an atrocity? I’m no expert but I do know that the building of the mosque at Ground Zero has nothing to do with worship and everything to do with victory: From Hudson New York:
It is crucial to study the supremacist ideology of Islam and to recognize, for example, that the building of a mosque especially at Ground Zero is viewed by Muslims as a decisive victory over the infidels in Islam’s march to establish its ultimate goal: the submission of all others to Islam and to Sharia Law.
And from the Thomas More Law Center and Catholic Exchange:

The al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem is built on top of one of the holiest sites in Judaism, the Temple Mount. The former St. Sophia’s Basilica, once the world’s largest cathedral and orthodox patriarchal basilica, was torn down and replaced with the principal mosque of Istanbul. The Cordoba mosque in Spain was a former Christian cathedral. Muslims have engaged in this practice for centuries, symbolizing their victories over the infidels.

We take note of the vast and expansive killing rampages of Islamic Terrorists but we need to know about another kind of slow and methodical terror of the “Stealth Jihadist”:

On a daily bases{sic}, in so many parts of the world, deadly attacks are perpetrated by Jihadists either against non Muslims or, frequently, against Muslims — especially Muslim women. The terror type of Jihad, however, is only one way for Islamists to accomplish their mission of making the “Kafir,” or infidels, submit to Sharia Law. Another method is, as the author Robert Spencer calls it, an insidious, creeping “Stealth Jihad.” While Mr. Shahzad is the impatient Jihadist who attempts to destroy the West through terror, there is also the second type of Jihadist, who is much more patient, and who employs the “Stealth Jihad.” The Stealth Jihadis are subtle in their approach and take their time to accomplish the same objective of submitting us all under Islam and under Sharia Law.

Does this not describe what is happening in New York?

Our civilization is in direct opposition to the all encompassing Sharia Law of Islam. It controls its people down to the last facet of life: From the Political Islam site:

The largest part of the Sharia is devoted to regulating the life of Muslims down to the smallest detail. There is no aspect of life that is not regulated-sex, food, art, business, education, prayer, manners, speech and how to think and not to think. There is no aspect of life that is outside the power of Sharia-religion, politics, ethics, culture are included.

A year ago, parents worried about their children and grandchildren growing up in a world created by Barack Hussein Obama…a world of control, a world without liberty or a constitution. I worry about those things for my family and my grandchildren, but as I watch the movement forward of this Victory Mosque at Ground Zero and I see the support of Bloomberg and our president, I am beginning to understand that we have bigger fish to fry in our quest for a return to our constitutional roots. First on that agenda is to stop calling Islam a religion. It is not a religion, it is a way of life. Like a cancer, it metastasizes entire countries. If we think socialism and communism is bad, “Islamism” easily subjugates all other “isms.”

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components. Islamic terror attacks happen about 4 or 5 a day.

From The Religion of Peace site:
We are tired of the arrogance, excuses, and whiny demands. It’s time for Muslims to take responsibility and end the violence.

I read in Revelations about Armageddon and the end of the world before the “Second Coming of Christ” and I think of the rampant evil in the time just before the end of the world. I cannot think of a malevolence greater than Sharia Law: it fits my picture of the end times and the impossibility of protecting our loved ones from a life depicted below:

As we fight for the return of liberty to our nation, let us not forget that America must remain, for the world, the last best hope for humanity. The engagement of this battle must begin in recognizing Islam for what it is and what it is not.
