OK, this may be old January news, but like a lot of other destructive things B.O. is doing to our country, this measure was quietly being brought to committee. The Twenty-second Amendment (Amendment XXII) of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for the President of the United States. The United States Congress passed the amendment on March 21, 1947.[1] It was ratified by the requisite number of states on February 27, 1951. (Wikipedia) It is also old news in that Serrano has introduced this to Congress every year since 1997. This is the president who will push it through.

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.

Committees are like “mini Congresses.” Most bills begin by being considered by one or several congressional committees which may “report” the bill favorably or unfavorably to the Senate or House as a whole allowing it to receive consideration by the full body and move forward, or may fail to consider a bill at all preventing the bill from moving forward. Most bills never receive any committee consideration and are never reported out. House bills start in House committees and enter Senate committees only after being passed by the House and received by the Senate, and similarly for Senate bills.

Information on committee proceedings is notoriously opaque: committees vary in what information they make public and often do not provide basic public information such as the results of votes electronically or in an understandable format. Furthermore, if your Member of Congress does not sit on any committee relevant to this bill, you generally have no opportunity to voice your opinion on the bill while the bill is receiving its most important consideration.

On January 6, 2009, Jose Serrano introduced the joint resolution which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Read about it on:

……..As the most far left president we’ve ever had, could he be the LAST president.

I mean DICTATOR we’d ever have?

Representative José Serrano (D)NY introduced H.J. Res. 5, which would make a third term possible for Presidents. Or a fourth? What about forever?

Go King B.O.!

Go King B.O.!

Once our country is socialist and all of our wealth has been turned over to illegals and welfare recipients, what will it matter? Holder opposes guns (as shared in a former blog) and their workin’, workin’, workin’ for the backdoor Fair-less Doctrine called Localism or Community Regulation (also discussed in a former blog on this site) to repeal the first amendment. The DEMS are all about helpin’ to make us FREE aren’t they? The dictionary definition of liberal is:

.…favorable to or respectful of individual rights and freedoms : liberal citizenship laws.
• (in a political context) favoring maximum individual liberty in political and social reform : a liberal democratic state.

Does repealing our Bill of Rights sound like respectful of individual rights and freedoms? I think not

Heil, mein Führer!

King B.O.
