The blog today is multi-faceted but it is really about one thing: controlling Free Speech. This president is terrified of our first amendment because it represents to him criticism and opposition. He cannot tolerate either. We have the attack on free speech via the Fair”less” Doctrine and the attack on the internet by a bill crafted by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat and one several months in the making.

Obama, with his Czars, is forming a shadow government to be out of the reach of the Supreme Court or Congress. In doing this, he seeks to further deconstruct and rewrite our country’s Constitution.

We conservatives knew that our socialist president would eventually try to control speech…and true to form, things at the White House are hoppin’ with the new FCC Czar Mark Lloyd and his plans for localism and regulation (code words for: Get Rush, Hannity, Levin and others off the airwaves).

Rush (8-27-09):
The way they’re going to try to get rid of conservative talk radio is with localism, and what they want is to divest ownership and have more minorities own radio stations. I mean, folks, there is a civil rights component to virtually everything Obama’s doing, and the civil rights component is angry. This guy is an avowed Marxist socialist. This guy praises Hugo Chavez’s takeover of the media in Venezuela. And his plan is to set out rules, content rules for diversity and fairness on the air — and if a radio station fails to meet those rules, they must pay a fine of 100% of their operating budget that year. Well, that puts you out of business. If you have to pay a fine equal to 100% of your operating budget it puts you out of business. The only way to avoid paying the fine is to get rid of conservatives on the radio and hire locals and satisfy this diversity czar.

And now a new bill (S773) to control cyberspace in an “emergency.” Y’all can just imagine what emergencies ole’ Bamster, Emanuel, Pelosi and Reid can think up to be able to shut up the conservative bloggers.

From Cnet News
Probably the most controversial language begins in Section 201, which permits the president to “direct the national response to the cyber threat” if necessary for “the national defense and security.” The White House is supposed to engage in “periodic mapping” of private networks deemed to be critical, and those companies “shall share” requested information with the federal government. (“Cyber” is defined as anything having to do with the Internet, telecommunications, computers, or computer networks.)

Translation: If your company is deemed “critical,” a new set of regulations kick in involving who you can hire, what information you must disclose, and when the government would exercise control over your computers or network.

From Gather.com:
The proviso that “any type of blog could be scrutinized” frames this assault on free speech in a wider context that just individuals making claims about products advertised on their websites.”

Rush continues:
The American people are not going to put up with it just like they’re not putting up with health care. It doesn’t mean they can’t try it and it doesn’t mean that the broadcasters won’t be scared to death because it’s Obama who holds the broadcast license in his hands now with these clowns running the FCC for him.

In our continual fight FOR first amendment rights, We the People must protect our constitution.
We have a president and administration hell-bent on destroying it.
